[PC] New Player looking for a little clarification/guidance
Hey guys,
Nothing too big today. I started playing earlier this week (steam sale). Currently level 10 Dragon Knight, questing my way through zones trying to level up.
An issue I am finding is Professions and Loot.
Currently all my loot, that doesn't get equipped, is being deconstructed at the appropriate crafting tables. I've only recently started using the greens I find to research traits so those are far and few between.
However I am not crafting anything yet. My main focus was going to be Enchanting. So i do often craft glyphs when I have the Runes available. I have not decided on a second profession, though I am leaning towards Medium armor so I may go into that profession. However right now all i have is a bank full of materials.
I do not know what I am meant to build, as there are no traits available to me yet, so I can make whites/greens with on-par armor values, but that's it.
Should i just be building as much armor as I can mindlessly to get the XP? Or should I be hoarding it until later levels when I can craft usable gear? It also seems that deconstructing things that do not have traits does not yield usable material- so I don't even feel inclined to craft/trade/deconstruct with a friend.
Right now I am at capacity in both my inventory and bags. Given there's no Auction House in this game (and I haven't joined a second guild for trade yet) I have no outlet.
Should I join an additional guild (trading guild) and sell my materials through their guild vendor (my understanding is this is how you do it). Would like to be either making some GOLD or benefiting my professions. Neither seem to be happening right now.
Any hints/tips would be much appreciated, thanks!
tl;dr: New player level 10, Enchanter/Leatherworker, deconstructing EVERYTHING and dunno what to do.
