Visualizers cause Rainmaker to drop to 2-5 FPS

Essentially whenever I load a visualizer Rainmaker goes completely bunk and everything I have loaded drops down to 2-5 FPS (as in when I move anything it moves extremely slowly). Not only that but the visualizer doesn't work with Spotify (and I know the Monstercat visualizer works with Spotify).
