Tails verification?

I've downloaded tails twice now first str8 from the website messed with it a bit (after using an intermediary of course) the wanted a fresh install so re partioned my usb's and this time got the torrent file and have been using that one (after intermediary again) my question is how probable is it for the iso to be wrong I just did research as to why you want to verify it but am a lazy fuck and don't really wanna reinstall and verify was utorrent enough? Or should I not cut the corner and just reinstall. Mostly asking since I'm about to clone for my buddy and wanna make sure I'm giving him a clean install. Thanks.
