I just finished Interstellar.. (review) (spoilers)
And honestly it's one of if not the best movie i've seen. Is it flawless? Of course not. It tried to tell astrology and astrophysics to the common Joe. Christopher Nolan reaches above and beyond with his fantastic directing. But Interstellar does have many narrative and emotional plot holes. For example, when Cooper reaches the 5 dimensional tesseract, after he'd given Murph the code to 'save the world' I would've been fine with the ending. However, it continues it's runtime for 10 more minutes with what I thought were unneeded. Other than that, I think Interstellar had great acting from Matthew and Anne Hathaway. Something Nolan managed to do that some directors fail at was he managed to make me care about a main character and his family's well being/survival. I'd overall give Interstellar a 9/10.
p.s. - when you really think about it, has Hans Zimmer ever composed a bad film score?
