Would you bother getting hairline cracks repaired?

I have a hairline crack on my iPhone 7, happened because of how shitty the leather cases are at drop protection. I'm getting a better case, but would you bother getting a hairline crack from the top to the bottom of the display fixed, or wait until something even worse happens? Would cost me $100 under insurance to fix.
