Vengence Paladin build advice for Strahd

Hey, all! I'm building a vengence Paladin for Cyrus's of Strahd and need a littlest advice as I've not played a 5e Paladin (and have only played one once before, ever, and that was a Pathfinder game that didn't get real far).

Here's the relevant info: Variant Human 16 STR and CHA, 14 CON Likely to only tank in the party (everyone in the group wants to be range-y in this campaign for some reason). Great sword wielder.

Okay, so here are my questions: Should I take Great Weapon Master or Resilient for my starting feat? I like being a damage beast, but does the survivablity offered by Resilient outweigh it?

Also: Is that stat array good, or am I better off dropping CHA to 14 and boosting CON to 16?
