Hildy's Parents and Gods?
A friend of mine brought this to my attention and I don't quite know what to think of it. Most of us, I imagine, know Hildibrand's parents, but I don't imagine a lot of us know about the details of the Twelve. Godbert Manderville is typically seen using a hammer to get through a sticky situation, and Julyan is typically seen chasing her son in a fit of rage with a massive skillet Dark Knight-style.
Two of the Twelve are depicted carrying similar equipment. Byregot, the God of industry and the arts, is depicted as having a two-headed hammer, and Menphina the Goddess of love is depicted as carrying a skillet.
Aside from the usual consorts that each of these gods have, this seems like more than a coincidence. It's not everyday that someone smacks their child into tomorrow using an inflatable skillet, and both Julyan and Godbert (God-bert, mind you) are confident, stalwart, and powerful characters.
I'm curious as to what people think about this. Do these characters hold ties to these two gods, or is it mere coincidence?
