Trying to find an old subreddit full of hilarious banter

There was a guy that would write dialogue between two fictional characters whose names I do not remember.

If I remember correctly the basic scenario was one guy who was the voice of reason dealing with his friend/roommate that would constantly misconstrue info and would imply some sort of hijinks at the end of it.

Sorry I don't have more to go on or any specific examples but I don't remember much other than lots of laughter. If there is a better subreddit to find this I would appreciate the direction.
