How are there actually so many trolls in silver

Climbed from bronze 4 - gold 4 in half the season last season no problem but now I'm trying to climb out of silver again and the ammount of ragers trolls and afkers is so insane! People say you have the same chance of the troll being on the other team but all that says to me is that this happens so much its ridiculous especially with autofill i just feel bad for everyone in silver they are constantly held hostage and riots lp system and promo system make is especially hard in silver lol.
