Dogs and pregnancy

So I've always heard dogs act different during pregnancy (more protective or something?), but mine have acted relatively normal until now and I'm wondering if any of you have gone through this... I'm 38+2 today and starting about a week ago one of my two dogs has developed a piddling problem. But it's only when my husband greets/excites her.

Backstory: She's almost 2, we got her second and didn't really do any training with her. So we have been working on making both dogs see me as the alpha instead of my husband for when the baby is here and I have to deal with 2 dogs and a crying baby while hubby is at work, but it seems to be having the opposite effect on her and making him scary to her? Maybe not scary as her tail is always wagging and she doesn't look scared, but it's having some sort of effect on her. We're on week 2 of piddles and I'm getting real tired of having to watch her like a hawk to make sure she doesn't ruin the carpet (we're renting). We've talked about the possibility of her having a bladder infection or UTI or something, but she doesn't have this problem when strangers/I greet her so I don't think that's it.

So has anyone else gone through this or do I need to make an appointment at the vet to rule out infection?
