Driving from Colwood to Tofino - check in at 3. Things to do on the way?

My husband and I are new to the island and plan on driving from our home in Colwood to Tofino for our anniversary in March. Our hotel check-in is at or after 3 PM in Tofino. If we leave early enough, what attractions or things do you guys recommend we do on the way? We've been to Cathedral Grove and Englishman Falls, and may try to stop at either one for a brief visit. Any other thoughts? Thanks so much in advance
