Dress code for grad school visiting weekends?

Got a few of these next month at doctoral programs I've been admitted to for the fall. It's not really an interview more of a visit where they are now trying to get you to choose their program... is it full suit and tie? Semi-formal? Are jeans okay if it's in a cold city?

Really have no idea how to find out about this other than to ask folks who are participated in them.
