So, what am I doing wrong?

I'm brand new to doing harsh vocals.

I know these sound horrible and embarrassing and pathetic, but am I doing anything in them that will damage my voice? I've been trying to listen to real band music but I'm not sure if I sound different from inexperience or wrong technique. Thanks for your help.
