Our bedroom was just cold enough that my first reaction to waking up was burrowing deeper into the covers, and snuggling against the warmth of your back. If I nestled into the curve of your neck just so I could avoid the evil rays of dawn light pouring through the shutters. I drift back into half-sleep, utterly ignoring any responsibilities in favor of floating in this sea of comfort.

Real wakefulness comes slowly, finally prompted by your hair tickling my nose, but I don’t mind. I crack my eyes open again, and this time the light is much softer. The newfound consciousness introduces me to the feeling of my hardness pressed against you, and I grind my hips ever-so-gently until my morning wood settles into your enticing butt-crack.

“Good morning,” I murmur quietly, my voice still thick with sleep.

I’m not sure whether you were awake yet, but I don’t think you’ll mind. My arms creep around your body, and hug you against me softly while I kiss the back of your neck. Sometimes I feel guilty over wasting the day in bed, but this isn’t one of them. Not at all. I close my eyes again and smile against you, perfectly content to snuggle the day away.
