CST Diploma vs BSc CS Degreee?

Students applying to the CST options, what motivated you to apply to the CST program vs. going down the bachelors route? Or do you plan on continuing studies to finish your bachelors at a later point?

Edit: I wrote BSc CS in the title only because there is no direct entry into the B.Tech program at BCIT, you would need to complete a diploma etc.
