Is 200 miles considered a long distance in European countries?
My wife and I drove from our home in Oklahoma to Dallas last weekend to visit the building where President Kennedy was assassinated, and it was a round trip of about 400 miles. We did it as a day trip, and it didn't seem unusual to drive that far. Is this sense of distance something unique to the US, or is it pretty much the same in European countries?
