Partner has herpes. I don't know if I should keep dating.

I'm not sure if this is the right forum.

I have been dating this girl for a few weeks. When we started to fool around, she paused and told me she got herpes 5 years from a cheating ex boyfriend. We kissed and groped - nothing in the genital region.

I asked her a few more questions the next day. She has had 2 outbreaks in 5 years and has never transmitted to anyone else. I have no reason to not believe her because she has been very open about it from the start.

Things are getting heavier between us. If we were to have sex, we would 100% be using a condom. I still don't know how comfortable I am. What are my chances here of contracting? She's an incredible girl and I feel like I am condemning her because of something that really wasn't her fault. That's why I am so torn.

Any advice?
