[HWI] What if the Jacobites restored the House of Stuart to the British throne?

Contrary to a somewhat mainstream belief that the Jacobite Rising was a war for independence, in OTL the Jacobite Rising was a war of religion, to retake the throne of the United Kingdom for the exiled Roman Catholic House of Stuart. In an alternate timeline, where the Jacobites had placed Bonnie Prince Charlie on the throne, how different do you suspect Scotland, Britain and Europe would be?
