new aW17R4 owner - are they all like this!?

Just got myself a 17 R4, 6700hq & 1070, its great :) My only concern is that my keyboard is noticeably different in the top left, Esc key area, compared to the rest of the keys. It feels like the keyboard is unsupported in this area, with more flex and a different noise. It's noticeable on the Esc, tab, tilde, 1, and F1 keys. Is mine normal or suffering some kind of fault? All feedback appreciated, thanks!
