Should I get used to playing with a lower dpi/sensitivity?

Hey guys

I'm currently using 1000 mouse dpi, and in-game sensitivity of 6. Alot of good players use alot less than this it seems. Do you think I should get used to using say, 800 mouse dpi to improve my aim?
