Anyone have a suggestion for gluing a solar panel to a backpack?

It's a 4½ x 2½ inch cell and I'm thinking I'll sandwich the fabric (cheap backpack canvas) in-between the back of the bare cell and a strong backing plate inside the bag. I was thinking epoxy could almost laminate the three together. Any other suggestions?
