KDE neon and Netrunner?

Hey guys, I'm new to Linux and have been trying a lot of distros on the past few days and I really fell in love with KDE.

I was trying out Mint KDE and Kubuntu, trying to decide on one, but to me they fell exactly the same, maybe it's just because I'm new, but I see absolutely no difference.

My question is if there's any big differences between these distros.

I'm looking for a daily-use/gaming/DAW beginner friendly distro, like Mint and Kubuntu.

Should I try out neon and netrunner? Or they have a different purpose?
