I need help. "Newbie" to the Sims 4.

So, I used to LOVE the sims when I was younger, (25 now), but, it's been YEARS since I played it. I think the last one I had was the Sims 2, no expansions or anything. So, a girl I went to school with is letting me use her Orgin account to download it onto my computer. There is SO MANY new things since I last played, I have no clue where to start. Can someone lead me in the direction of what things to download to get extra stuff, like items. Cheats like for money. Anything that I need to know. Thank you!
