930U (Unlocked) in 6.0.1 - Issue in auto connecting bluetooth Device

I primarily connect my android device to MiBand 2 and My car's bluetooth - MiBand 2 for notofication and smart lock and car (for ovious reason). I always kwwp my BT ON. Until my last phone (Nexus 5 and 5X), I used to be able to go to car, start it and Dial a phone from car in about 5 sec or if I am already in call, I used to be prompted to transfer call to BT. Now, I have to manually connect every single time. Also, My phone used to be auto connecting Mi Band 2 so that I wouldn't need PIN or fingerprint to unlock, but now it doesn't connect unless I force it to. I was in Dec security patched, and downgraded to September patch to see if it fixes and now back in Dec patch and issue is persistent. Anyone else having same issue? Thanks
