[Discussion] Magic Sorc - Gear Set up

Hi all, So I'm around 220cp and starting to mess around with gear set ups. as I'm a magic Sorc would it be terrible to have gear that all gave maximum magic?

http://imgur.com/a/7utCN this is what im thinking, i'd get almost 7k magic added from set bonuses. Just wondering if this would be bad? if so why?

EDIT So I'm still looking and i found a rather obvious improvement http://imgur.com/DLLoUhc 7300 base magicka added, + Spell Crit + Spell Damage.

And the main reason I'm looking to go max magicka is that i was under the impression that destruction staff spells scale off max magic and weapon damage? and my main spamable attacks are force shock + Unstable wall of elements + pulsar.

I looked at Burning Spellweave but adding spell damage wouldnt help destruction staff spells would it?
