We’ve worked thousands of hours to build a better way to keep up with pro LoL
Creator of PickBan here with a new esports focused website, stage.gg . My team and I have collectively worked thousands of hours mining data and crunching code and we would love to get feedback from the community on what we’ve built.
Why build this website
Members of our team have always used various Youtube channels to keep up with LCS matches we missed, but we always wanted there to be a better way to follow games without having to open up multiple tabs and go back and forth between reddit and Youtube for statistics, highlights and vods.
We wanted all information about a professional match to be contained within a single web page. We wanted to know when a match was scheduled to happen, then click into that page to watch highlights, then see detailed game and player statistics which we could then share with Reddit to prove that Jensen is better than Bjergsen.
What can you do on stage.gg
Matches
- Search for any professional NA, EU, LCK, LMS or CBLOL game that has been played since S5 summer: Link
- Watch vods and highlights embeds which are linked within minutes of the game finishing: Link
- View deep statistical analysis while you watch, such as gold advantage over time, damage charts and players’ builds
- Track every important event such as kills and objectives in every game
- Enable spoiler-free mode to hide all scores and stats so you can catch up on what you missed at your own pace
- Use a persistent match ticker to easily navigate recent and upcoming matches for all pro games
Player Stats
- Compare players by every popular statistic: Link
- Dive into a player’s stats and recent event history: Link
Right now, the site only shows statistics for games that are completely finished. In the near future, we plan to add in additional features such as statistics pages for each team, as well as deeper statistics tools and stats which update live while each match vod is playing.
We consider the site in Alpha mode. Bugs and usability quirks are to be expected. We want to know what you love, what you hate, and what you think needs to be added/modified. We’re ultimately building this website to help you keep up with LoL and find deeper, richer professional statistics. This is the very first iteration so all feedback is extremely valuable and appreciated.
