People With 4+ Consoles, How Do You Manage Your Collection?

this week I added a PS3 to my collection, so I now have a Sega Dreamcast, Nintendo Wii U, Xbox, Xbox 360, XBox One S, PS2, PS3, and PS4 Pro. Ideally I'd like to have them all hooked up to the same AV receiver because I can switch between sources & setups via voice control. I'm mostly not sure what people do about managing cables and storing a giant stockpile of controllers for various systems.

My collection has become big enough that now I'm looking for tips on managing it. I actually bought a 16 port switch a couple weeks ago, in part for use with my console collection, but I've been putting off installing it because I suspect it'll be a pain in the ass.
