Can we talk about how pointless exhaustion really is?
I dont feel like running out of stamina is as impactful as it should be, you lose your offence for a few seconds, but you retain all defensive abilities, part of that is good, its not good to feel helpless.
The part that i find rediculous is that you can still/dash dodge Unhindered while out of stamina, this leads to people just spam dodging backwards till their stamina recovers, making the fact that they exhausted themselves negligible, and while it is most notable on assassins every can do this tactic and to me it just cheapens the whole stamina system.
My suggestion is that while exhausted you either cant dash at all, or the range and speed is severely reduced (but the fact that you can dodge still means you can trigger deflects for assassins).
This would atleast force the exhausted person to have to engage his opponent, keep in mind he is still able to block, parry and counter guardbreak so he can still defend against everything. but spamming backstep is no longer a free ticket out of stamina exhaustion.
I feel like being unable to retreat is an apt and fair punishment for being reckless and exhausted, after all thats why you cant sprint or roll to escape while exhausted, the problem is that dodges are in many cases just as effective if not more so at retreating.
