General visa question and WWOOFing in Mexico

Hola espero todo esta bien!

I am wondering if anyone has had experience in WWOOFing in Mexico and if there are any places they would reccomend in the south (yes I signed up to WWOOF Mexico).

Another question is what should I do about a visa? I see some people on here suggesting to get one, others say just say you are visiting. Any experiences to share about this would be awesome
