Didn't answer fast enough...

A week ago, one of my friends that I was inpatient with in a mental hospital killed himself and someone else (who wanted to die; i.e. suicide pact sort of thing). He has contacted me in the past for support. I've been trying to reach him for probably about a month. I haven't seen him since I finished an outpatient program. Last Wednesday, he finally responded saying he almost committed suicide. I was doing some housework at the time and didn't notice. I did respond probably 30-60 mins later but he never replied. I only had his Facebook info and nothing else. On Saturday, I saw something on the Internet I wanted to share with him. I went to his Facebook page and saw that it was changed to a memorial page. I Googled his name and found a news story about him shooting a friend and them himself last Thursday; the very next day after I got a message from him.
