Can you re-use fleece for new pigs?

Hi all. A few of you may have seen me post about my girls Latte and Bean here. Unfortunately, Latte's behavior problems have gotten worse. Because my boyfriend and I specifically chose the pair because the rescue ensured that they were outgoing, friendly, and easy first time pigs, we weren't fully equipped to deal with this. We spent a week deciding, and we are turning them back to the rescue, because the rescue suggested a re-evaluation of them. We feel it is the right thing for Latte and Bean.

That said, we are going to be opening our home to a new pair of girls on Sunday. Which brings me to my question-- can we re-use Latte and Bean's fleece for our new girls, after washing it? Or would it be better to get all new fleeces? I don't know how it works with the smell still being in the fabric, and I don't want the new pigs to feel uncomfortable.
