Server rack cabling

Hello friends!

I am in the process of organising the cabling on our server room. It is 8x42u racks with cabling like a can of worms.

It is raised a flooring, no overhead cable trays and power cables for equipment plugged into the rack to the side.

So we are trying to scope of work to bring order to the chaos and I am hoping to get some ideas about any cabling standards for this kinda thing. I'm doubtful the budget will be approved for it but I need to make sure that it is on file that we tried.

Thus far I've come across TIA-942 but really haven't see anything that speaks to what I would call structured cabling of the racks. I would really like to quote some international standards or properly documented best practices by reputable companies to build a stronger case.

Any thoughts with be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
