Credit score of 841 (out of 900) declined for a $5000 loan

Alright. I get it, I am a student doesn't have a deadly income.

They told me that a part time minimum wage ($10cdn) job was better than a guaranteed work terms as a student engineer ($45/hr) because it was continuous employment as opposed to seasonal (4 months on, 4 months off).

They said that in this case, a cosigner wouldn't have helped. What can I do!? I have 2 credit cards totalling $2000 in all (not much) but I haven't payed a cent of interest in 3 years since I have had them. As well, the same companies that declined me, are the ones who send me offers for $7000 credit cards. I just want a small loan so I can buy a used car on Kijiji. You won't approve me for this, but a new $ 25K car I not only get approved but i gey half the interest as the $5K loan?
