Honest/balanced views on Sissoko - a moratorium

I appreciate that we want to get behind the lads; win, loss or draw - but what are our honest views on our £30m man?

For me, he's a massive chance to surpass Paulinho and Rebrov as our worst ever signing.

I get that its an instalment deal*, and we may not pay all of it, but who would want to take him off our hands? He's quick and direct, but he has lead boots, the worst first touch you'll ever see, barely tracks back and doesn't pose much of a threat at goal.

I really thought he was improving after that cameo at United, but it turns out that his decent-to-good January was actually Sissoko at his best.

At this stage, all he's good for is stretching a defence as a late substitute. For a club with our resources, that's nowhere near enough for what we paid.

*Yes, I appreciate its not his fault we paid £30m.
