Looking for help with tournament bracket scoring. I have zero programming experience.
Hi! I'm attempting to set up a custom March Madness style tournament as a promotion at work (ice cream shop). The idea is to create a tournament bracket with 64 flavors and have each matchup in the bracket voted on by the public, with the more popular flavor moving on to the next round. This would repeat until we have a winner. I would be able to do that part myself, but the tricky part is we'd like to allow people to fill out a bracket before the voting begins to predict a winner (just like a March Madness pool). This could be done via paper submissions, however, if enough people submit brackets the manual scoring would become tedious. My question is would anyone be able to create a way to accept and score bracket submissions online, similar to how ESPN, CBS Sports and Yahoo run online bracket challenges. I hope I've been able to explain what I'm looking for well. Any help would be awesome, thanks!
