i overclock 1337 to 1866 mhz and my pc lost signal

i asked someone on pc gaming if it's ok to overclock 1337 mhz to 1866 mhz and he said it's ok cuz it's just light OC, when i changed it to BIOS (note: i dont have XMP profile cuz it says on the manual it will depend on the cpu if it's gonna appear) and signal got lost and i had to shut it down manually, and it came back when i turn it on again and it says on the bios i didn't have a proper shut down and there's something wrong. IF anyone can help i would really appreciate it, i need 1886 mhz to enable dual gpu
