If I get accepted to University of Florida Online for a Computer Science BS..

Should I reconsider my state's (Texas) degree options. I keep getting scared that a Bachelors in Science won't be nearly as competitive as a Bachelors from an engineering school within a college. Should I apply else where and try to get into an engineering school rather than University of Florida's Liberal Arts and Sciences?
