Can a herpes "infected" lip balm used during blister stage induce a new crysis when used in a "clean" (no manifestation) stage?

Hello all.

I have herpes simplex in my lips, and I also use lip balm. I kept using the lip balm during the “active” stage of herpes (when the region burns/itches and blisters appears). Now the crysis is over. If I use this same lip balm now that the manifestation is over will this facilitate or induce a new crysis?
