Gen 2 Update Breaks PoGo Plus Connection Now?

Just wanted to ask and see if anyone else that uses a Pokemon Go Plus has been having issues with connecting their devices? It worked perfectly fine earlier today and up until the update but now that I've downloaded the update, my Plus will no longer connect.
