If a random celebrity mysteriously disappeared and I anonymously make a GoFundMe page saying I'm holding them hostage and asking for $100,000 within one week or else I kill them, what kind of crimes could I be convicted of if I am caught?
Assuming the scam works out and dough starts rolling in, but I get caught, how screwed am I? Does the risk outweigh the reward?
