The People

So from what I understand of the stereotype, the main group of people in this field are the nerdier, gaming-addicted people (you know who I mean) from high school that have their set group (which is totally fine and all). Is this an accurate representation of most CS majors and co-workers.

I had a presentation for Cyber Security with a lot of CS-interested people and felt out of place. I'm simply curious, not trying to throw shade/hate of that group of people.
