New player wondering whats up with all the DCs?

Hi everyone! I've been playing for about 2 weeks now and having a lot of fun but there has been something very odd about this game I've noticed. Since I started playing ranked my games have frequently been 4v5s due to a disconnect. Just tonight for example I had 3 games with a leaver on one of the teams. Why is it this is so common? Have I just had a streak of bad luck or is that a trend in this game due to server issues or ragers? I have never encountered so many leavers in other online shooters I've played like overwatch and csgo. Just wondering if someone could shed some light on the situation because if it is a common occurrence I may just stop playing since those matches are not fun to play. Also if it matters I play PC.
