Do I need to RMA my motherboard? Details in post.
So I just upgraded (ish) my PC with all new components. I finally received my 7600k today so I assembled it all on the Mobo box and turned it on.
Mobo lights and fans all came on so I waited patiently for my monitor's power light to go from Orange to blue (indicating there was a display being pushed to it), and nothing.
So naturally it ruins my entire day. I did all the tricks and whatever to fix it like taking out my GPU, unplugging my SSD, one stick of RAM, and everything else you can think of to no avail. I even used an actual power supply tester to make sure it was good and everything tested perfectly.
I had a 6600k that I originally (and stupidly) ordered first over the 7600k so I tried that thinking it might be a DOA CPU and got the same result.
Should I just return my motherboard? It seems like the only option at this point and it's pretty easy since Amazon has it essentially no questions asked 30-day return policy.
