18 [M4F] Make it So
Hi there, just a man with some Star Trek roleplays, I'm open to more than what I have so please feel free to suggest anything. I'd prefer to stick to TNG or DS9 but I can make accommodations if the prompt is good enough. Also prefer long term roleplays.
TNG
"Make it so," he said, giving the last order before his shift would end. He stood up and looked around the bridge, his bald head shining fromthe bright light of the bridge. It was a fine ship, the Enterprise, NCC-1701D, the latest version, one of the most advanced ships in the fleet. He admired the bridge, the clean layout of all the terminals, the simple tan color everything had, a Captain couldn't ask for a better ship. He tugged on his shirt, the deep red color over the clean black, accentuated by his 4 gold pins.
"Have a good rest Captain Picard, a deep voice said from behind, it was Worf, standing tall with an expression carved of stone, clad in his yellow uniform and traditional Klingon sash. "Thank you Mr. Worf," he responded, "and to you too." Worf was a good officer, between his imposing figure, skill in combat, and thoroughness, the security of the ship was always in good hands. Picard left the bridge and took the turbolift to his quarters, entering he took a seat and leaned back, relasing the stress and fatigue from commanding the ship. He went to update his log, as he did after every shift, but found a message waiting for him, a message from Vash, somehow on a secure line.
Over in Ten-Forward people were milling about, getting drinks, socializing, the usual. All but one of them was usual. Alone at a table was the ship's Lieutenant Commander, a man of unnaturally pale skin, a strange yellow that some might consider to look sick, and odd demeanor, very much like a Vulcan. The truth is he wasn't a man at all, he was the only android to become a Starfleet officer. Data sat, not drinking anything, not talking to anyone, just watching. In his quest to understand and eventually 'become' human, he had always had trouble understanding love, why humans felt it, how it worked. He had some time with Lieutenant Yar before she died but it was brief, and only left him with more questions. So he watched, keenly observing every couple, every man making a pass at woman, he watched, nothing slipped past his careful eye.

So I left the possibility of two paths, one of Picard and Vash and the other of Data exploring love. Let me know if either catch your fancy.

DS9
Dax left the holosuite, tired and sweaty after swinging her Bat'leth around for so long. She had always been familiar with Klingon traditions, thanks to experiences from her previous hosts. Quark's was crowded, the room littered with the rainbow of Starfleet uniforms and others who had come to gamble and drink. "Goodbye Quark," she said on her way out. She was one of the few officers to be as friendly with Quark as she was, most couldn't stand him. Leaving the bar, she headed back to her quarters for much needed rest.
Not sure where this is headed but any roleplay consisting of Dax would be good, Ezri or Jadzia. I am also open to other characters.
Thanks for reading all the way, look forward to talking.
