New to dripping question about rewicking and coil moving,

Hey guys just picked up the goon today and my God am I loving the guy at the shop helped me do the build and wicked. But I wanted to get used to wicking myself when I took the cotton out I know I should have dry burned it to get the rest of the juice out and I didn't kinda had to really pull on cotten to get it out is it OK if the coil moves a little bit when I pulled the cotton out
