Blue polyphage... sounds like glimmer that eats stuff

Breaking down polyphage: Poly=many, phage=that which devours. What I think blue polyphage, the thing that allows us to draw glimmer from the vex, is in the destiny lore is a substance which can devour many things (possibly anything) and turn into something else, in this case glimmer.

I would imagine that this is something the Vex use to supply themselves with ammunition? have a store of matter which is progressively eaten by the polyphage and turned into whatever they need at that moment. It wouldn't be like glimmer, since it's not a resource or an input, rather it's a method of manufacturing. Imagine it like a machine that, rather than being consumed, just breaks down after a while.

Maybe this is irrelevant but the thought made my experience farming glimmer from vex that much more satisfying. Hope it does the same for you guys
