How did Anakin get the green lightsaber?

I've only ever watched part of Attack of the Clones. When I saw it in theaters I actually left halfway through. Jump to present, I see clips of him in the movie with a green lightsaber. How the hell did he get this? I'm aware his original was destroyed btw
