POI wants to meet, doesn't answer follow up emails.

Have been exchanging emails with a POI and he has expressed a lot of interest and excitement to talk to me. I will be visiting the city the school is in and asks if he would liked to meet and he said yes and that he was looking forward to it. He said to email him when the time got closer to set a time. I have emailed him twice now and he hasn't answered. We were planning to meet Saturday. Not sure what to do. Any advice? I'm confused by his behavior.
