Need Ideas for Chile Trip in August

Currently planning a ski/adventure trip with 3 others to Chile in August of this year. Tentative dates are two weeks in the middle of August. Flying into Santiago. Want to ski at least 4-5 days (Valle Nevado, Portillo, etc.)

Currently, additional ideas include glacier backpacking/hiking, ice climbing, etc.

Looking for additional ideas. We're open to traveling further outside of Santiago and would prefer to do so. Returning to US form anywhere is an option. Details on logistics would be appreciated.
