I'm worried about my girlfriend, she's been living with a TBI for 10 years now
And she has to take medicine daily to control a seizure disorder which developed. She describes loss of vision and terrible headaches if she forgets to take her medicine, but instantly her condition improves after medicating.
I'm worried now because the medicine she'd been on for a year is starting to wear off so she's going to have to switch. But the new medicine she is likely allergic to. She had a history of bad reactions to different medicines.
She goes to a good neurologist and she has good care. I'm just worried about her. I don't want her to die or end up in the hospital T_T
Edit: My concerns are likely because I'm not that educated on the topic. She knows what's up. I feel like the only thing I can do is make her smile and hide in the closet with her when there's too much stimulation.
